To Get To Mansfield |
| From
Melbourne Central & Via the Hume Highway, take the Tallarook turnoff (about 11km before Seymour) and go through Yea to Mansfield. (The road is narrower and windier, however is a little quicker than going up to Seymour) |
|
| From
South/Eastern
Suburbs
Via the Melba Highway from Lilydale, through Coldstream, Yarra Glen, Yea (do 2 right hand turns) and then on to Mansfield. Very scenic and the fastest route. (If you’re not distracted by the many excellent wineries on the way.) Via the Maroondah Highway. This way is equally scenic with the impressive Black Spur, but will take longer. Go through Healesville to Alexandra. In Alexandra turn left and head to Mansfield. Do not go via Eildon to Jamieson as it is 61km with some winding dirt road. (A bit of a teeth rattler.) |
|
Via the Hume Freeway turn off at the Mansfield exit. Travel south along the Midland Highway thru Lima South and Barjarg and then turn left at the Midland Link to Mansfield. Travel for 11km to Mansfield and turn left at the roundabout into the town centre of Mansfield. |
