Situated on the shores of Lake Eildon between Mansfield and Jamieson, not only does Willowlake make an excellent base from which to tour Victoria’s Lakes, Rivers and High Country, but as Mansfield lies at the crossroads of several of the states most scenic and historic touring routes getting there and back can be half the fun!
Willowlake is just 15 minutes from Mansfield, 45 minutes from Mt Buller, and a leisurely 2.5 hour drive from Melbourne.

All within 45 minutes drive are skiing and snowboarding, fishing, swimming, canoeing, rafting, boating, cycling, hot air ballooning, airplane joyrides, mountain bike, horse & camel rides, wineries, brewery, bushranger haunts, bushwalks and scenic picnic sites.
The high country has so much to offer, site-seeing at nearby Mt Buller, touring the numerous local wineries, bush/farmers markets, bush walking, 4wd tours, Craig’s hut, and horse riding adventures, just to name a few. Enjoy a picnic or BBQ on the banks of the picturesque Jamieson River.
Don’t let Melbourne’s weather fool you! Once you drive over the divide, you will find the weather improve dramatically. It is commonplace during Spring, Summer and Autumn that the days are warm and dry, and the evenings cool and fresh. In Winter however, the weather can be cold and snowy, just the right conditions to curl up in front of the fire.
